Richard Genera
President
At thirty-three years old, Richard Genera leads El Paso Young Democrats as President for his third term. A born and raised El Pasoan, El Dorado, and UTEP graduate, and loving fur-parent to a demon dachshund named Dobby.
Having ran a failed bid for office in 2022, Richard took on the role as President of EPYD at the beginning of 2023. He took over with the intention of building EPYD into the organization he wish had existed while he was running for office. This vision has guided Richard's leadership philosophy and has resulted in the growth and flourishing of EPYD into what it is today.
When not organizing, Richard works full-time hours across two jobs. In his spare time he enjoys movies and TV shows, gaming, and spending time with Dobby.
Lianna "Li" Verrett

My name is Lianna (Li) Verrett, I serve as the VP of the EPYD and ambassador to the Westside Dems of EP. I have an Associates in Advertising Graphic Design and currently am at UTEP for my Bachelors in Linguistics, focusing on Translation. I have been involved in the political community since I was a kid, having attended Obama's second inauguration, and have been actively involved since I was about 12. Outside of the professional world, I enjoy a multitude of video games, reading (especially Sci-fi and historical fiction), and studying languages! And making art and graphics of course

My name is Lexi! I'm a family law attorney as well as a portrait photographer, I own Lex Photography, LLC. I am involved with the El Paso Roller Derby League. I have been active in politics my entire life. I want to help get El Paso's young adults more engaged, active, and enthusiastic about making a difference.
