Donor Agreement

WHEREAS, the Donor wishes to make a donation to the Organization, and the Organization wishes to accept such donation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, in acknowledgment of the Donor’s voluntary donation, and the Organization’s acceptance thereof under the terms and conditions set forth herein, the parties agree as follows:

 

1. DONATION: The Donor agrees to donate to the Organization an amount not exceeding $1,000 per calendar year. 

 

2. NO GUARANTEE OF ENDORSEMENT: The Donor acknowledges and agrees that any donation made to the Organization does not guarantee endorsement in any way. Endorsement decisions are made by vote of the members, who are discouraged from considering past donations in their decision-making process.

3. EQUAL ACCESS TO MEMBERS: The Donor acknowledges and agrees that making a donation does not entitle the Donor to additional, preferential, or increased access to the Organization’s membership, including but not limited to speaking opportunities, event participation, meeting, or other interactions. All candidates shall be provided equal opportunities to engage with members, subject to the Organization’s established rules and scheduling procedures. 

 

4. NO CONTROL OVER ORGANIZATION: The Donor acknowledges and agrees that making a donation grants no control over the Organization’s speech, agenda, operations, endorsements, social media posting, messaging, or programming. 

 

5. DISCLOSURE OF DONATIONS: The Organization will disclose all donations it receives, the amount they receive, and the identities of the donors.

 

6. GOVERNING LAW: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas.

 

7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This Agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties and there are no other promises or conditions in any other agreement whether oral or written.
